Father George Knows What He’s Talking About

I really like poetry, and my parents both know it. My mom doesn’t care for it took much but my dad, George, does and he tries to spend some time with me while enjoying it at the same time. Our usual ways get a bit redundant, however, so one day I asked him, “Hey Dad, what do you think about trying something new for a change? We could go research some cool songs or something new.”. He laughed, and said that’s small stuff. He was glad I asked, because he had wanted to go to a Free Open Mic session for a while now.
