Travel to Granada from Malaga

Granada is about a 90 minute drive from Malaga. Malaga is the hub of Andalucia and you can pick up a car hire Malaga train station and then drive to Granada. Granada features Moorish architectural wonders such as Alhambra. The gardens and palace grounds will keep you occupied for at least a day. The fact that the Moorish wonder survived the Christians during the crusades provides the historical significance. Check the internet for recommendations on great local tapas bars which feature free tapas with drink purchases. Relaxing with tapas is a wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon in Andalusia.
