Clark Airbase was, along with the naval base in Subic Bay, the primary army base that was set up by the American forces inside early 1900s and managed until 1991 when they had to depart after the Philippine Senate voted against an extension of this accord. The primary ground covered an area of 38 sq km or nearly 15 sq m. It was typically the stopover of numerous US fighter planes and also utilized as a refueling station of the American Army. It is now well known tourist attraction, settlement and as well as a center of a variety of businesses inside the country
