Clarity of Video Glasses

I am just not good at buying what he likes and he is very specific. However, that does not mean I am going to give up. I know that his favorite thing with the television is the clarity so if I try and buy him Video Glasses is there a certain pair out there that has the best clarity and real images that I can find? Or with someone like his taste not be happy with the quality?
