When Hand Washing Too Much

When is too much when washing your hands to not transfer germs like the parvo in humans? This is a really hard question to answer, but most say that it is quite enough to wash your hands before and after meals, as well as after using the bathroom. I make it a general rule to wash whenever I will be playing with my baby as he tends to put just about everything in his mouth and I do not want to transfer any germs to him. If you feel like you have to wash your hands at every minute of the day, you may want to talk to your doctor to see if there could be any medical reason for the compulsive hand washing.
