Trying to Increase My Cardiovascular Fitness Level

I had to run for the bus the other day and I realized just how out of shape I am when I got out of breath right away even though I had barely gone any distance. I really need to find a good workout routine for men that will help me to build up some endurance and get in better shape. I don’t need to be able to run marathons, but I would like to be able to keep up with other people my age without getting out of breath as soon as I try to do anything at all active.
