Accounting and why it’s important

When we think of accountants, we often think of someone hunched over a computer day in and day out, crunching numbers. However, when you are an accountant and you work at a major research based educational institution, it suddenly becomes important to educated yourself as well as become more educated about items such as a grant management system, what it does and how it can be effective for you and your education.

Grant management is not something that should be taken lightly or looked upon with humor. Rather, it is this very same technology that can make or break a collegiate university. Without some sort of grant management system installed and running up to snuff, then colleges and universities around the world would suffer.
