Not Looking Forward to Tonight

July 16, 2010 on 2:26 am | By admin | In Travel and Leisure

I realized during my first class that I had made a mistake. It was after I was sitting down in class that I remembered that I had left my application to the university study abroad programs sitting on the kitchen table. I knew that my mom would be home before me, and that she would see that envelope. She probably would not be the type of person that would be able to not open the envelope. I knew that I was going to get into some real trouble when I got home tonight. I was not going to be looking forward to that.

Cheap Holidays To Crete Allow For More Excursions

July 15, 2010 on 1:58 pm | By admin | In Travel and Leisure

What is important when booking a holiday for my boyfriend and I, is making sure that there are lots of excursions. We love to experience new cultures and learn about the history of the area we are staying in. Which is why cheap holidays to Crete are so useful, it leaves us with a lot more spending money to go and visit all the attractions. We have a holiday booked for next month and I’m really looking forward to visiting the Palace of Knossos and the Archaeological Museum Chania. The place I’m most looking forward to visiting though is the Venetian Walls and Tomb of Nikos Kazantzak.

Travel to Granada from Malaga

July 15, 2010 on 2:41 am | By admin | In Travel and Leisure

Granada is about a 90 minute drive from Malaga. Malaga is the hub of Andalucia and you can pick up a car hire Malaga train station and then drive to Granada. Granada features Moorish architectural wonders such as Alhambra. The gardens and palace grounds will keep you occupied for at least a day. The fact that the Moorish wonder survived the Christians during the crusades provides the historical significance. Check the internet for recommendations on great local tapas bars which feature free tapas with drink purchases. Relaxing with tapas is a wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon in Andalusia.

A Mother’s Day Flight

July 10, 2010 on 8:46 am | By admin | In Travel and Leisure

When mothers day came last year, I wanted to do something really special for my mom and take her on a jet charter flight to New York. She has always wanted to go to the city of New York, but never wanted to deal with the airport traffic and the crowd that the city has, in and outside the airport. So I got a jet charter for her to use to her delight to go where ever she wants to go in New York. There was an option to rent for 3 hours, but I went ahead and got it for 8 hours, so she does not have to rush at all.

Bass Fishing Boats

July 9, 2010 on 5:52 pm | By admin | In Travel and Leisure

We have wanted a fishing boat for a while but we didn’t really feel like we could afford a new one. So we started to start looking at used Bass Fishing Boats to see how the prices compared. It was really amazing the difference of price. Fishing boats apparently don’t really hold their value off of the showroom. That turned out to be a good deal for us. We bought a two year old boat that had more options than we will ever need and it also has an excellent depth finder for about 20 cents on the dollars. That’s 80 % off for just two years of use. We thought that was a good deal.
