If you are preparing to leave on a long trip then you would automatically think to pack typical items like toothpaste, shampoo, clothing, etc but if you are anything like my family then you will also remember to take along any items you will need for entertainment purposes.  For my family and me that means we are sure to pack our wireless Boss Headphones for the kids.  If you have ever had the chance to take a trip with a good dvd player in the car and you have young children you probably already know what a life saver this can be.  After all long drives are never much fun for young children.
